A fight between two girls left a woman shot near Elizabethtown Monday, Bladen investigators said. The suspect, who is 17, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to inflict serious injury and discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling, according to the Bladen Sheriff’s Office. The town of Chadbourn is under a curfew from 6 p.m. today (Saturday) until 8 a.m. Sunday. The town announced a state of emergency today due to the winter storm. Only truly essential travel will be allowed in the town.
