Deputies arrested a woman after she allegedly violated a restraining order and tried to bring narcotics into the county detention center. Jessica Akins, 36, of 111 Barbcrest Dr., Whiteville, was charged with possession of heroin and methamphetamine, possession of narcotics at a jail, drug paraphernalia, and violating a domestic violence protection order.
