Johnny Franklin “Pee Wee” Kissam, Jr., age 69 of Evergreen, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Johnny was born on June 23, 1951, in Columbus County, to the late Johnny Franklin Kissam, Sr. and Dorothy Louise Griffin Kissam. He was also preceded in death by his son, Stuart Randall Kissam and his siblings, Hubert F. Kissam, Bobby G. Kissam, and Wilton E. Kissam. Johnny worked as a paving supervisor for Barnhill/Apex for over 40 years. He attended the Fair Bluff Church of God faithfully, while his health allowed.
Survivors include his wife, Iris Earle Rogers Kissam; and a daughter, Diane Lynn Jernigan of Cerro Gordo.
A private graveside service will be held.
