Broncs, bulls and barrel racing made for two big nights at Lake Waccamaw this weekend.
The Southeastern Gospel Music Association sponsored a pro rodeo at the Boys and Girls Home, with all proceeds going the home. Despite the heat and humidity, the Events Center was packed Friday and Saturday.
It was the first time in several years a pro rodeo has visited the Home, and a pandemic-weary crowd turned out for two big nights of cowboy action. Visitors also flocked to the farm during the day to meet the cowboys and cowgirls participating in the event.
