Columbus Regional offices renamed

Columbus Regional Health Center is sponsoring the #maskupcolumbus campaign.

Columbus Regional is now donning a new sign that reads “Center for Robotic Surgery” on the front of the building. The hospital has been making advances in medicine, and now has state-of-the-art technology used by expert experienced surgeons.

The healthcare network is also expanding offices to Leland in the form of a Primary Care facility and a Urology and Orthopedic clinic. An Imaging Center is also set to open in the area. These clinics will allow patients to seek care locally without having to travel to Whiteville to receive follow-up care after surgery.

Existing offices will not be left behind with the new changes coming to the network. Beginning Monday, Sept. 13 practices names will have emphasis and name changes. Southeast Primary Care will be known as Advanced Primary Care. Southeast Orthopedics will change to Advanced Orthopedics, and Southeast Pediatrics change to Advanced Pediatrics. Finally, patients will be seen at Advanced Urology formally known as Southeast Urology.

The new motto for the Columbus Regional Healthcare Network will now be “Patients First. Technology Forward.”
