The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications now for six law enforcement positions, and five detention officer positions. You can apply in person or online and you must be Basic Law Enforcement Certified to apply. If not certified, you may contact Southeastern Community College for Basic Law Enforcement class scheduling.
The starting pay for Law Enforcement Officers is $39,553.94 and starting pay for Correction Officers is $34,532.23.
