Dear Heavenly Father, it is in humble submission that we ask you for comfort, as we announce to all, that Mrs. Connie Ophelia Blanks Jacobs has changed her physical address. What once was 3400 General Howe Rd., Riegelwood, NC is now 777, Highway 7 in that Beautiful City called Heaven. Mrs. Jacobs quietly stepped out of life’s backdoor at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC on Sunday, February 6, 2022.
Precious moments have been set aside to spend intimate time with Mrs. Jacobs while reflecting on fonder memories, on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 5pm until 7pm in the main chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood, NC. A formal Graveside Service of Remembrance to celebrate the life and legacy of this devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 1pm in the Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church Cemetery in Riegelwood, NC. Although her heartbroken family will have to depart, leaving her earthen vessel in this designated place, all that knew Mrs. Connie can rest knowing that she is now apart of the glorious number that John The Revelator spoke of in the final book in the Bible. John said he looked and saw a Great number, that no man could number and The Lord informed him, that those were the saints that had come up through hard trials and tribulations and had washed their Robes In the blood of the Lamb.
Left on this side of the River Jordan to remember Mrs. Jacobs are her two daughters: Felicia J. Greene and Portia T. Jacobs; four grandchildren; two sisters: Lillian B. Brewer and Brenda B. Ebron; one brother: Jesse L. Blanks; two sisters-in-law: Gloria B. Blanks, Karen J. Cherry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitors are being received at 3400 General Howe Rd., Riegelwood, NC throughout this time of sadness and where all will assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
