Barbara Ann Godwin Larrimore, wife of George Larrimore, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at her home in the Beaverdam Community; she was 81 years old.
Barbra Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Godwin and Clyde Ophelia Ward Godwin, and her two sons, Ritchie Larrimore and Travis Larrimore.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Worthington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in the Mercer Cemetery. Pastor Buddy Seay will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-2:45, prior to the service.
Barbara Ann worked for Carolina Telephone for over 15 years, and later was employed by Columbus Regional Healthcare System, serving as a switchboard operator for eight years.
Survivors include her husband, George Douglas Larrimore of the home; sisters, Betty Jo Duncan “Tobie” of Chadbourn, Ila Pearl Shelley of Charleston, SC; grandchild, Kasidi Ann Larrimore of Elizabethtown; daughter-in-law, Dona Rich Larrimore of Chadbourn, and many nieces and nephews.
