Tractors along area roadsides aren’t unusual, especially at this time of year, but a local man recovered his stolen tractor before he knew it was gone.
Teddy Inman told deputies that he was driving on Gaston sellers Road Tuesday when he saw an International Farmall tractor parked on the shoulder of the road. Inman stopped to investigate, and discovered that the tractor was his.
Inman told deputies he did not realize someone had taken his Farmall, which is valued at $3,000. The report did not specify if the tractor was damaged or had broken down.
The case is under investigation.
