For the second year in a row the Whiteville Police Department hosted its National Night Out at City Hall in Whiteville. And although the rain shut the event down a bit early, everyone in attendance last night had a great time partaking in the music, games, prizes and giveaways.
Events like these allow the community to get to know their local first responders. Whiteville Police Chief Doug Ipock said he was pleased with the turnout, and the event has grown from last year. He expects it to continue to grow each and every year.
This event would not have been possible without the help of everyone involved!
