A dog was found beaten to death in a field in Nakina Sunday.
The sheriff’s office reported that the Sarah’s Avenue resident who owned of the animal let the dog out to go to the bathroom around 6 p.m. Saturday. When the dog did not return, the owner began searching for the dog.
It was found apparently beaten to death in a field around 9 a.m. Sunday. Later that day, the report said a video recorded by a teenaged juvenile allegedly showed the dog being killed by another teen.
The case is under investigation.
