Mr. Grover “Barry” Vaughn, 72, of Hallsboro, passed away tragically on Friday, December 1, 2023, following a house fire.
Barry was born in Wake County to the late Grover Beck Vaughan and Mildred Vaughan. He was also preceded in death by his two granddaughters, Kristian Hope Whaley and Madison Brooke Whaley.
Survivors include his daughter Meshell Vaughan of Hallsboro; a sister, Joi Tannert (Ron) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and two nieces, Ashley Singletary Adcock and Brittany Singletary.
Funeral services honoring the life of Barry and his granddaughter, Maddie, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Worthington Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Columbus Memorial Park; Pastor Donald Conway will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Friday.
