Madison Brooke Whaley, 22, of Hallsboro, passed away tragically on Friday, December 1, 2023, following a house fire.
Madison was born on April 25, 2001 in Columbus County to William Eugene Whaley and Audrey “Meshell” Vaughan.
She was preceded in death by her sister Kristian Hope Whaley and her grandfather Grover “Barry” Vaughan.
Survivors include her parents, Meshell of Hallsboro and William of Tabor City; her grandmother Sondra Autry of Whiteville; and an uncle, Landon Autry of Leland.
Funeral services honoring the life of Maddie and her grandfather, Barry will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Worthington Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Columbus Memorial Park; Pastor Donald Conway will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Friday.
