Premier Living in Lake Waccamaw is having a community Easter egg hunt on March 30 at 11 a.m. for all children.
The Veterans Memorial Park will host an egg hunt, telling of the resurrection story, games and crafts for kids, and other activities March 30 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. All events are free. Onsite Photography will be offering photos with the Easter Bunny. The park is located at 6354 James B. White Hwy. South (U.S. 701), Whiteville.
Whiteville First Baptist Church will have its egg hunt Saturday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. There will be crafting, egg hunting, and cookie making. The church is located at 412 N. Madison St., Whiteville.
New Life Community Church at 107 South Maultsby Street in Whiteville will have their Easter cantata Sunday, March 24 at 6 p.m. and also an Easter Sunrise Service March 31 at 6:30 a.m. The Easter service will include communion, a singing service, and regular morning worship at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday’s egg hunt at Tabor City has been postponed until March 30, due to the threat of inclement weather. The Colts PTO will still host the spring carnival in the gym at Tabor city School beginning at 10 a.m. The Greater Tabor chamber of commerce is this year’s volunteer bunny, and the event is sponsored by Columbus County Parks and Recreation.
Forest Lawn Baptist Church will present The King is Coming on Saturday and Sunday from 6 through 8:30 p.m. Reservations can be made at https://forestlawnbaptist.wixsite.com/worship/event-details/the-king-is-coming. Choose your time and make a reservation. The church is located on U.S. 701 in Tabor City.
