The suspect in a May armed robbery has been arrested.
Farajili Jamaal Smith, 39, is being held under $250,000 bond on a single charge of armed robbery. His address was listed in detention center reports as 328 Hammer St., Fair Bluff. He was taken into custody July 12.
The sheriff’s office reported that Robert Tyler contacted law enforcement around 2:15 a.m. Tyler said he was robbed at gunpoint at a home in the 13000 block of Swamp Fox Highway West, Fair Bluff.
Smith is alleged to have taken $2,600 in cash and a telephone in the robbery.
