Juveniles charged in WHS Vandalism

Two teens are under juvenile petitions for a $10,000 vandalism spree at Whiteville High School July 29.

Lt. Andre Jackson of the Whiteville Police said the suspects are 17 and 13 years old.

Sgt. A. Gore of the WPD was called to the school on Lee Street around 9:20 a.m. The suspects had forced their way inside a main building, then damaged five security cameras and two Smart Board televisions.

The youth face charges of vandalism and felony breaking and entering.
