Trunk or Treats, Fall Festivals in High Gear This Weekend

• Hallsboro will host a community trunk or treat and fall festival October 26 from 5-8 p.m. at Bogue Park. There will be free hot dogs, candy, games and more. Call Laura Norton at 910.207.2484 to participate.

• Lake Waccamaw Safe Night is from 6 until 8 p.m. at Elizabeth Brinkley Park. There will be games, free food, trunk or treating, and more.

• Western Prong Baptist Church will host Trunks of Treats at 821 South Madison Street in downtown Whiteville Sunday from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. There will be food, music. Tom’s Coffee truck, and more. Everyone is welcome.

•  Chadbourn Baptist Church will host Trunk or Treat Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m. There will be games, barrel train rides, facepainting, a photo booth, hayride and much more.

• Scout Troop 507 will host a fall carnival at the Veterans Memorial Park Monday at 6:30 p.m. There will be food, games and more. The park is located on U.S. 701 South of Whiteville.

• The Waccamaw Siouan Tribe will host a trunk or treat at the tribal grounds Oct. 31 from 7-9 p.m.
