Multiple homes were hit in an apparent drive-by shooting near Tabor City Monday night.

The sheriff’s office reported that Dep. D. Hilburn responded to the call after at least three homes were shot Monday.

Hilburn noted that Aaron Bellamy, one of the residents, pointed out the new bullet holes in the targeted structures. While other victims were at home during the drive-by, Hilburn’s report noted that they were not cooperative with investigators.

The homes that were hit were at 3967, 3935 and 3969 Wright Road. Deputies also found damage to a shed, and bullets were recovered from inside two residences. No one was injured.
