In what has become a tradition in Hallsboro, Santa Claus will visit one of the county’s oldest businesses for some holiday cheer Saturday (Dec. 14).
Pierce and Co. in Hallsboro will host the jolly old elf from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. This year he’ll have some company – Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, some elves and even the reindeer.
Santa began visiting the store during the Christmas season a number of years ago, greeting passersby as well as customers.
“W’re happy to announce we were able to get on his schedule,” the store staff said in a social media post. “As you know he and the elves are pretty busy this time of year.”
