Columbus County Commissioners passed one of the strictest vape store regulations in the state Monday. The board rejected a proposal to define vape stores as any business with 85 percent of its sales involving vape, Kratom or THC products, and instead dropped the percentage to fifteen percent.
Non complying stores would have to shut down or move in four years. Vape stores will not be permitted within a half mile of any church, school, day care or group home.
