
Warrants show an alleged drug trafficker starved a dog to death, in addition to dealing cocaine and MDMA.
Antonio Ward, 39, with addresses of 80 Ward Village Drive and 602 Rough Horn Rd., Evergreen, is being held under $110,000 secured bond, according to detention center reports. He is charged with trafficking in MDMA, trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for drug activities, drug paraphernalia, and felony kill an animal by starvation.
Warrants shown that Ward was arrested Thursday, and that he was in possession of large quantities of MDMA, known as “Molly” or the “Date Rape” drug, as well as between 28 and 200 grams of cocaine. Detectives also seized 85 grams of marijuana, and additional 3.64 grams of cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
Investigators also found a dog that had allegedly been starved to death on the property.
