An armed Cerro Gordo drug dealer will serve 33 months in federal prison and three years probation.
Brandon Jeffrey Miller, 26, was sentenced after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a felon and trafficking opiates. He was arrested Nov. 13, 2019, during a controlled buy at his Cherry Street home, Sheriff Jody Greene said in a press release.
When Miller was arrested, he was carrying a concealed handgun, the release said. Court records show he was convicted of armed robbery in 2016, and was arrested on the new charges less than a month later.
