Here’s today’s Bottom Line

Dry high pressure will be in firm control of our weather today through at least noon on Thursday. A dramatic short-term warm-up as we go from around 70 this afternoon to around 80 on Wednesday afternoon.

We’ll see an increase in cloudiness Thursday as a cold front approaches, and then crosses the area during the afternoon hours. This will bring a line of showers with it. This particular front will not bring a lot of rain, though; the showers we receive will be enough to wet the ground and that’ll be about it.

Colder temps come funneling in Thursday night and last through Friday night. As for frost concerns, it appears that the winds will be elevated enough to prevent any widespread frost formation. I’m going with “isolated frost” mainly Friday night/early Saturday, but I’m going to keep an eye on this trend… the outlying areas, typically colder spots in the county, may have a bit more concern than in the cities.  I may choose to highlight isolated frost Thursday night into Friday morning as well, as mentioned in “The Bottom Line.”

Temperatures generally moderate throughout the weekend, before another frontal system brings the next rain chances by early next week.

Here’s your Freedom Insurance Today-plus-Five forecast:

That will conclude today’s report. Thanks for reading, enjoy the nice weather, and as always, take care.
