The Wall That Heals is coming to Whiteville, NC – April 24-27, 2025

Join us as we honor and remember those who served. The Wall That Heals, a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, along with a mobile education center, will be on display at Veterans Memorial Park of America.

This powerful tribute offers a chance to reflect, pay respects, and learn about the sacrifices made by our veterans.

Angela Norris of the Veterans Memorial Park of America said the replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be escorted through downtown Whiteville Tuesday April 22 between 12:45 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. rolling through downtown Whiteville, NC.

Businesses and residents are encouraged to greet the procession as it comes through downtown Whiteville. Several hundred members of the Rolling Thunder Veterans Motorcycle Organization are expected to escort the wall to the park.

Columbus County is one of only 30 locations in the U.S. where the wall will be displayed this year. The education center that travels with the wall will display photos of all 58,000 Vietnam service members who died in action.
