A man and woman from East Arcadia were jailed after they allegedly robbed a Rouse Lane man Oct. 28, and left behind some of their loot. Cierra Myree Young, 37, and Robert Terrell Lacewell, also 37, were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. Young was also charged with absconding from the N.C. Dept. or Probation and Parole.  9 p.m. update The elderly man who was missing on Braswell Road has been found safe. Mr. Danny Britt was found in a cornfield in the Evergreen community, Sheriff Bill Rogers said. Britt was transported to a medical facility to be evaluated. All volunteer fire departments in the county sent searchers to the hunt.
