UNC Southeastern moves COVID clinic

Southeastern Regional officially joined the UNC System Thursday.

Vaccinations offered Tuesday and Thursday

Beginning Tuesday (April 27) UNC Health Southeastern will begin offering COVID-19 vaccinations within Southeastern Health Mall Clinic on the campus of Biggs Park Mall.

First-dose vaccines will be administered every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Individuals may walk-in or schedule vaccinations by visiting srmc.org and clicking on “Get Vaccinated.”

Second-dose vaccination appointments will be moved to Southeastern Health Mall Clinic beginning next week. Patients will receive a telephone notice of the appointment location change.

Everyone age 16 and over is now eligible to receive the vaccine. The only restrictions related to vaccine administration include those related to children and approved vaccine use. The Pfizer vaccine is approved for individuals ages 16 and older and Moderna is approved for people age 18 and older. Anyone ages 16-17 who would like to receive the vaccine must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Walk-in vaccinations will be offered as long as daily allocation supplies last. Please note that individuals who register as a MyChart Guest when scheduling their appointment online will not receive a confirmation notice via email or text. If an appointment needs to be cancelled or changed due to scheduling issues or other factors that may arise, those who registered as a guest should email vaccine@srmc.org to request appointment adjustments.

There is no cost to the patient for the vaccine.

Southeastern Health Mall Clinic is located at 2934 N. Elm Street, Suite B, Lumberton. For more information, call (910) 272-1175.
