Developing right now: the sheriff’s office is investigating a shooting incident in the Clarendon community. No additional details were immediately available.
The shooting was the second in 24 hours and the third this week. Someone opened fire on a home on Ten Mile Road outside of Tabor City just before 10 p.m. Wednesday. On Sunday, Two juveniles and an adult scrambled for cover after an unknown individual opened fire on Peacock Road near Chadbourn.
No injuries were reported in either of the earlier incidents, according to the sheriff’s office. It is not known if the shootings are related.
