Multiple search teams and divers are scouring Lake Waccamaw for a reported missing person.
An 18 year old male is still missing, according to Katie Hall of N.C. State Parks. Two persons were recovered earlier and are being treated for hypothermia, according to emergency radio traffic. all three were apparently kayaking on the lake, Hall said.
“It is considered a recovery effort at this time,” she said.
