A North Hallsboro woman is recovering after she was beaten unconscious Tuesday.
The sheriff’s office said deputies were called to Columbus Regional after the woman was brought into the emergency department. She was assaulted by a man she knows, and was struck until she blacked out, the report said.
Warrants have been obtained for a suspect. The investigation is continuing.
