An alleged case of teen sexploitation has landed a man in the county detention center.
Granvel Eric Adams, 52, was held under a $10,000 secured bond on the single county of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to arrest reports. His address was listed as 241 Martinez Lane.
The sheriff’s office reported that the victim’s family contact officials after Adams allegedly told the teen via social media that he had “pornographic” photos of the victim, and threatened to share them on social media. The victim did not supply Adams with the images, the report said, and it is not known how he obtained them. The warrant states that Adams “did photograph material containing a visual representation.”
The sheriff’s office is investigating.
