Several youth softball and baseball teams are on their way up the ladder. The East Columbus teams were honored with a parade at Lake Waccamaw last night. Today, July 7, the Whiteville Dixie Darlings, Sweet Tees and AAA Minors Baseball All-Star Team paraded up Madison Street to the courthouse in at 11:30 a.m. on their way to the state playoffs.
