Whiteville City Schools will be on a regular schedule Wednesday, and will be closed to students and staff Thursday due to Hurricane Idalia.
There will be no after school sporting events. Sporting practices may be conducted, but must be concluded by 6 p.m.
In a social media post, school officials said they expect to return to a normal schedule Friday.
