School across Columbus are once again getting ready to open their doors to welcome students back into the fold. Last week, the district announced the dates for open houses all over the county. The 2023-2024 academic year is set to begin on Aug. 28.
Open houses are scheduled as follows:
Aug. 15- East Columbus Jr/Sr HS- Drop in orientation for 7th grade from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Aug. 22- South Columbus HS- Freshmen orientation at 6 p.m.
All other events will be on Aug. 24 at the following schools and times:
Acme Delco Elementary- 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Chadbourn Elementary- 5-7 p.m.
East Columbus Jr/Sr HS- Grades 8-12 from 3-7 p.m.
Hallsboro Artesia Elementary- 5-7 p.m.
Nakina Middle- 5-7 p.m.
Old Dock Elementary- 3-6 p.m.
Tabor City School- 5:30-7:30 p.m.
West Columbus HS- 9th grade orientation from 6-8 p.m.
West Columbus School- 3-7 p.m.
Williams Township- 4-7 p.m.
