Entertainer and entrepreneur Greg Thompson will be the host and guest speaker at the next meeting of the Southeastern North Carolina Genealogical Society.
The society will meet July 13 at 2 p.m. at Thompson’s Chadbourn venue, Brown Street Station, located at 202 N. Brown Street, Chadbourn.
Thompson is an experienced entertainer and performer currently living in Orlando, Fla., with his wife and business partner, Jackie Warren. They purchased a vintage downtown building in Chadbourn during the pandemic to create a special events venue and performance hall.
While the program begins at 2 p.m., some members arrive early to share family stories and information. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
