Mother, Boyfriend Charged with Rape of Girl

The mother of a child has been charged with allowing her daughter to be raped by the mother’s boyfriend.

Mary Angie Barnhill, 39, and Parker Spaulding, 29, are being held under secured bonds. Barnhill is alleged to have allowed Spaulding to perform sex acts on her daughter from the time she was 12 until she was 15, according to warrants.

Spaulding is charged with multiple counts of statutory rape of a child under 15, indecent liberties with a minor, second degree forcible rape of a child, and sex acts by a substitute parent, according to warrants and jail records.

The sexual abuse began in 2022, according to the warrant.
