Domestic Leads to Standoff

No one was injured after a suspect shot at deputies in a domestic violence call this morning.

Brandon Nobles was taken into custody around 4 a.m., Chief Deputy Aaron Herring of the Columbus Sheriff’s Office said. He was treated for chemical exposure but was otherwise uninjured.

The victim in the incident fled the scene before calling 911. The sheriff’s office armored vehicle was used to get personnel close enough to the home to gain entry, said Herring.

The incident occurred in the 3000 block of Beaverdam Road.

This is a developing story. We’ll have more later on air and online.
