All events are scheduled for OCt. 31 (Halloween).
Trinity Baptist Church at 201 South Thompson Street in Whiteville will host trunk or treat from 5 to 8 p.m.
Whiteville Police and Whiteville Firefighters will sponsoring trick or treating at the municipal building at Columbus and Madison from 6-8 p.m.
Fair Bluff is holding trick or treating from 6-9 p.m. throughout the downtown area, including the new business center.
The Waccamaw Siouan Tribal Center will have trunk or treat from 6-9 at the tribal headquarters on Old Lake Road.
Southeastern Community College will host its annual trunk or treat Thursday at the campus starting at 6 p.m. Thousands of children are expected to attend. There will be a costume contest and more. The event is a joint effort from SCC, Columbus county Parks and Rec, and the sheriff’s office.
The Nightmare on Franklin Street featuring the Tunnel of Terror is back. Visitors are asked to donate one to five dollars for Hurricane relief. All proceeds will go to Samaritan’s Purse. The scary good time starts at 5:30 p.m. at 413 South Franklin St., Whiteville.
