Shirley Ruth Canady of Calabash passed on Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was born in Horry County, S.C. on May 8, 1943.
She is survived by daughters, Sue Canady (Bennie Smith) of Ash, Renee Etheridge (David) of Whiteville; brother, Dennis Watts of Conway; grandchildren, Charles Etheridge, Margaret Etheridge, Dewayne Etheridge, Aaron Smith; great grandchildren, Kaylee Etheridge, Jayden Etheridge, Harley Price, Eli Etheridge.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Canady; Parents; brothers, Fred, Eugene, and George; sister, Louise Etheridge.
