Adoptable at Horry County Animal Care Center – Conway S.C.

The Horry County ACC in Conway S.C. are caring for 419 animals, including 150 animals seized in an Horry County Police investigation on May 9, now at overcapacity and in need of the community’s help to get them through:

Adopting:  90 dogs and cats are AVAILABLE for FEE-FREE adoption
Long Term Fostering:
Donating supplies, if so inclined
Unable to accept owner surrenders/public strays until more of the current population finds adoption or rescue. ACC will not euthanize for space. Over 90 pets AVAILABLE right now for fostering, adoption, and rescue, including Pie, Tucker, and Toby, pictured.

The 150 animals seized in an Horry County Police Investigation are not available for public view, media access, fostering, adoption or rescue at this time. Should these animals become available, they will be shared on Horry County Animal Care Centers’ FB page.

We are currently experiencing a severe surplus of floof. We’ve got cats.
Big ones. Tiny ones. Sleepy loaf-shaped ones. Come meet your next nap supervisor, food critic, or late-night zoomie partner.

FOUND  – Not For Adoption

ColCo APS has a chocolate mare pony in custody. The pony was found taking a walkabout down Haynes Lennon Highway on Wednesday, May 7. You must have proof of ownership to claim the pony. Contact the shelter at 910-640-6609 if she’s yours.

Columbus County Animal Protective Services 288 Legion Drive, Whiteville. Hours are Monday through Friday  10 a.m – 4:00  p.m. and Saturdays by appointment. Call 910.641.3945 for details on specifics of what is included in the adoption fees.

Moxie is a 2 year old spayed female, ~8 pounds. UTD on shots.

A calm, friendly girl that loves play time! Very cuddly and sweet. Uses the litter box like a champ.  She is good with other cats.

Ordinally found as a outdoor stray, but since has decided inside is a lovely life. 💗
