We are proud to present our “Pet of the Week” page here on CCN – Columbus County News. Each week we will highlight a different adoptable orphan from the Columbus County Animal Protective services.
Meet Oswald, originally a stray that found his way to the shelter.
He is a attractive intact pitbull mix ~3-4 years old, short white coat with some light coffee cream brown and the most handsome freckling. Oswald weighs in at about a solid 60 lbs.
Oswald’s photo says it all, he has a very sweet and loving demeanor. Just picture Oswald riding shotgun in the front seat of your truck!
Please come visit with Oswald and spend some time with him outside of his holding kennel. Adoption fee includes vaccination, dewormer and a neuter certificate.
Our Sassy girl from last weeks CCN PET OF THE WEEK is still waiting for that special person to give her a forever home.
Meet Sassy, unspayed pit mix, ~3 – 4 years old, weighing in at about 45 lbs.
Please come visit and ask to see her outside of her holding kennel; her intake kennel card ID (#4502) doesn’t even touch how beautiful her classic brindle markings and white accents shines in the sunlight!🌞
She is active and social, would do well in a home that will teach her positive reinforcement to continue confidence & good leash manners.
Sassy has been at the shelter a long while, the folks here are super friendly and kind, but she dreams the day she can walks out the front door with her new human and settle into her new home.
She would make someone a very beautiful side kick!
