“Pet of the Week”

Highlighting weekly different adoptable orphans needing that forever family 💗

Adoptable at Columbus County Animal Protective Services.

Meet Penny, a young attractive ~1 year old  ~30 lb. and about ~17″ tall, unaltered female. Cattle Dog mix with some classic ticking, erect ears and brown over white short coat.

Cattle dogs are very intelligent, hardy, independent minded & high energy. They were originally bred for herding, as a companion she will still need a job/activities to do to keep her mind engaged.

Not much of a back story to share, but if eyes could tell her story, hers can. She doesn’t belong here, her people were not her people…She needs a stable home, that is familiar with the breed and will spend time with her learning her basic commands and will get her spayed.

If you have been toying with the idea of adopting a orphan Canine and are mindful of the breed

…Lil’ Penny is your gal!

Penny is vaccinated.
