A Chadbourn man was arrested for littering more than 500 pounds after he allegedly dumped the contents of a storage building in Chadbourn.
Ronald L. Cribbs, 66, of 362 Dessie Road, Chadbourn, was arrested after the furniture, clothing and trash were illegally left beside a home on Blake Street. He was released on an unsecured bond.
The alleged dumping took place in July, and the warrant was issued in August.
Cribbs allegedly emptied a storage building on Blake Street on property owned by Jim Mauldin, according to the warrant. The refuse including dressers, furniture, garbage, clothing, and boxes of papers.
Lt. K. Elliot of the Chadbourn Police drew the warrants.
