Parents have two opportunities to get free haircuts for students this week.
Southeastern Community College is offering free back to school cuts tomorrow (Thursday) from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the college. Call 910.642.7554 to make an appointment, although walk-ins are welcome.
Parents who might not otherwise be able to afford a haircut will have another chance Saturday. Local barber Herman Williams will be offering free haircuts Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Hibbett’s Sports in Whiteville. Free hot dogs will be available while they last.
