Bartie McKinley “Pete” Moore, age 95 of Whiteville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville, NC.
Mr. Moore was born on February 3, 1927, in Columbus County, to the late Camon Boyd Moore and Lula Webb Moore. He was the widower of Mary Irma Moore. Bartie was also preceded in death by his daughter, Delinda Moore Odom; grandchild, Robert Brandon Odom; his siblings, Wesley Moore, Homer Lee Moore, William Lawrence Moore, Lula Estelle Moore, Etta Beatrice Spaulding, Evangeline Braxton, and Noami Masei.

Survivors include his loving companion and caregiver, Susan Creech Slater of Whiteville; son, Barty Moore; grandchild, Rhonda Lee Odom, Jr.; great-grandchild, Brandon Trayvon Odom, and Trinity Blackmon.
